Tacoma convenience store shooting leaves two seriously injured

Tacoma convenience store shooting left two men seriously injured, including a Korean American store owner, according to authorities in Washington state.

Police said the shooting occurred around 12:33 p.m. on April 23 in the parking lot of Park Ave Foods, a convenience store near South 72nd Street and Park Avenue in Tacoma.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.

Both victims received emergency medical treatment before being transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities said the two men sustained serious injuries but are expected to survive.

Korean American store owner among the victims

Local media reports identified one of the injured men as a Korean American store owner in his 40s, surnamed Jin, who operates the convenience store where the shooting took place.

The identity of the second injured man has not yet been released by police.
