Global Domination: Seventeen World Tour Crashes Billboard Top 10 Midyear Chart
Move over, rock legends and pop icons—the theater kids of K-pop are officially taking over the global touring industry. Billboard just dropped its highly anticipated Midyear 2026 Report, and the massive Seventeen world tour has officially cemented itself as one of the most lucrative and heavily attended spectacles on the planet.
According to Billboard’s data, Seventeen locked in the stunning No. 7 spot on the worldwide Top Tours chart. The 13-member powerhouse raked in a jaw-dropping $88.1 million and performed in front of 574,000 screaming fans across just 25 shows in the first half of 2026 alone. When it comes to filling up massive stadiums, Seventeen clearly knows how to turn a concert into a certified gold mine.
K-Pop Takes Over the Global Stage
Seventeen wasn’t the only Korean act making major waves on the international box office charts. The Billboard Midyear report revealed a massive win for Hallyu, with three K-pop acts comfortably securing spots in the global Top 15.
While Seventeen led the pack at No. 7, the record-breaking girl group Twice twirled into the No. 12 spot, grossing $58.3 million with 434,000 attendees. Not far behind them was Tomorrow X Together (TXT), who snatched the No. 15 spot with a cool $53 million and 412,000 fans. Unsurprisingly, this powerhouse trio also claimed the top three spots on the specialized K-pop concert charts, with Ateez and Enhypen following closely in fourth and fifth place.

To put Seventeen’s monumental achievement into perspective, the top of the global chart was dominated by pop mother Lady Gaga ($236.2 million) and reggaeton king Bad Bunny ($230.3 million), with rock royalty Paul McCartney placing third ($110.8 million). Landing right behind these legendary titans is a massive feat for any group, let alone one performing primarily in Korean.
Out-Selling the Legends
If you thought their 7th place position on the overall tour chart was impressive, wait until you look at the Top Ticket Sales rankings. The Seventeen world tour actually climbed to No. 9 on that specific chart, meaning they moved more tickets than legendary cinematic composer Hans Zimmer, rock icons Guns N’ Roses, and the newly reformed Linkin Park.
The group’s massive success comes on the heels of their heavily praised “New_” world tour, which originally kicked off with a spectacular show in Incheon back in September. While the band spent a large chunk of late 2025 dominating stadiums across the United States and Japan, their 2026 leg turned into an absolute victory lap.
The boys packed out arenas and stadiums in Hong Kong, Thailand, and the Philippines, before returning home to put a spectacular exclamation point on the tour with a grand finale back where it all started in Incheon. With numbers like these, it’s safe to say that Seventeen’s global domination is nowhere near its final act.
