From Shopping Carts to Art Smart: Meet the H Mart Childrens Art Contest Winners
Every parent knows that a trip to H Mart is an adventure for the senses—from the towering walls of ramen to the sweet aroma of fresh bakery treats. This year, thousands of tech-free, creative kids turned those grocery store core memories into award-winning masterpieces. Supermarket giant H Mart has officially announced the winners of its highly anticipated 2026 I Heart H Mart Childrens Art Contest, celebrating the bright young artists who perfectly captured their favorite grocery store moments.
The nationwide competition, which ran from April 3 to April 26, drew an overwhelming wave of imaginative entries from across the country. Out of hundreds of vibrant submissions, a total of 90 talented young artists were selected to take home bragging rights and big prizes.
The $1,000 Grand Prize Masters
Taking home the ultimate crown—and a hefty boost to their future college funds—are this year’s Grand Prize winners.

Stephanie Yang (Hye-rin Yang): Conquered the Pre-K to 1st Grade division with her pure creativity.

Jace Lee: Took the top spot for the 2nd to 5th Grade division with his impressive artistic flair.
Both prodigies will be awarded a whopping $1,000 scholarship alongside a custom-engraved trophy to cement their status as local art icons.
Prizes Galore and 2027 Calendar Fame
H Mart didn’t hold back on rewarding the runners-up, either. First-place winners are walking away with a $500 H Mart gift card and a plaque, second-place winners get a $300 gift card and a trophy, and third-place finishers secure a $100 gift card and a trophy. Even the honorable mention recipients are being celebrated with a $20 gift card and their very own trophy to display proudly at home.
But the coolest prize of all? The winning artworks are going to be immortalized. H Mart revealed that the top pieces will be featured inside the official 2027 H Mart Calendar, meaning these kids’ art will be hanging in kitchens all across America next year.
How to Claim Your Prize
All 90 winners have already been notified individually via email. If your little artist made the cut, prizes can be collected directly at the customer service desk of the specific H Mart location where the artwork was originally submitted. Just don’t forget to bring a valid ID and your H Mart Smart Card!
