Actor Kim Soo-hyun, who has returned after a year by overcoming controversies surrounding his personal life, flashed a bright smile in front of the camera.
Indonesian magazine HighEnd released a short video on its official channel on the 25th, stating, “A special greeting from the one-of-a-kind Kim Soo-hyun. Get ready to grace the cover of HighEnd Magazine.”
The released video featured Kim Soo-hyun’s greeting. Standing in front of the camera, Kim calmly said, “Hello, I am actor Kim Soo-hyun. I am so happy to be with HighEnd Magazine today. Please look forward to many new sides of me.” He ended the greeting with a few words in Indonesian.
In the video, Kim appeared bright and energetic. He showcased his signature dandy charm with neat styling, smiling brightly and greeting the camera calmly. However, his noticeably sharper jawline, suggesting weight loss during his hiatus, also drew attention.
Previously, Kim Soo-hyun was embroiled in controversies following the passing of the late actress Kim Sae-ron, with allegations that they had dated when she was a minor and that he had pressured her to repay debts. Afterward, Kim held a press conference and stated his position, saying, “What I didn’t do, I didn’t do,” and promised to prove it.
The YouTuber who raised the personal life allegations against Kim was arrested due to the severity of the case, facing charges including violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, violations of the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes, violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (distribution of illegally filmed content, etc., and coercion to use filmed content), and intimidation.
Having cleared himself of the suspicions, Kim has officially resumed his activities. He previously met fans by making a special guest appearance on the live broadcast ‘Mahakarya RCTI 37’ celebrating the 37th anniversary of RCTI in Jakarta, Indonesia.
