Girl group KATSEYE has claimed the No. 1 spot on the US Billboard main album chart, the ‘Billboard 200’, while simultaneously placing four songs on the ‘Hot 100’, proving their formidable presence.
According to Billboard’s latest chart for August 29, ‘Animal’, the pre-release track from KATSEYE’s third EP ‘WILD’, ranked 24th on the main song chart ‘Hot 100’. This is a 6-spot rise from the previous week, demonstrating both long-term charting success and a continuous upward trend.
In addition, ‘Hootie Frutti’, the title track of ‘WILD’, entered the ‘Hot 100’ at No. 31, and ‘PINKY UP’ landed at No. 81.
Furthermore, ‘ICONIC BY MISTAKE’, a special collaboration single with fellow HYBE labelmates LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, maintained its position at No. 94, bringing the total number of KATSEYE songs on the ‘Hot 100’ to four.
Tracks from ‘WILD’ such as ‘Bel Air’ and ‘That Way’ also ranked 11th and 14th respectively on the ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’, further highlighting KATSEYE’s powerful impact.
With ‘WILD’ topping the ‘Billboard 200’ with 170,000 equivalent album units, KATSEYE is breaking their own personal records. Their previous releases are also seeing a simultaneous surge in popularity; their second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ and debut EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’ ranked 92nd and 156th on the ‘Billboard 200’ respectively.
Building on these remarkable achievements, KATSEYE also crowned the ‘Artist 100’ chart, proving their immense influence and commercial power.
