(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon is gearing up for her solo comeback after 5 years and 2 months, reflecting on her journey as she marks her last birthday in her 20s. Cube Entertainment released the intro film for Soyeon’s 1st full solo album ‘Awesome Life’ on official social media channels, showing her looking back on her life. Released on her birthday, the video starts with Soyeon saying, “I can say it was awesome,” and features footage from her childhood, trainee days, appearance on Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’, debut and producing with (G)I-DLE, up to preparing for her first solo album. Phrases like “I always wanted to be new” and “I wanted to do better” appeared throughout the video, revealing her mindset of constantly growing and taking on new musical challenges. Soyeon expressed about her first solo album, “Actually, I think I’ve put it off for quite a long time.
