Global pop icons BTS have added another massive milestone to their international discography as the BTS Swim France SNEP Gold certification was officially confirmed by the French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP). The lead track “Swim” from the group’s fifth full-length studio album Arirang has officially reached Gold status in the European nation’s single category.

The recognition is awarded to tracks that surpass 15 million cumulative units calculated across streaming, digital downloads, and physical sales.

Achieving the milestone just five months after its release, “Swim” represents the second-fastest K-pop single to reach Gold certification in France, trailing only BTS’s 2020 smash hit “Dynamite”.

The success of “Swim” marks BTS’s 10th Gold single certification in France. Furthermore, the album Arirang earned a Gold certification within six days of its debut before securing a Platinum certification in April after exceeding 100,000 units sold.

In addition to European certifications, Arirang continues to perform strongly on worldwide music charts. The album secured the No. 24 position on the Billboard 200 chart dated August 29, 2026, maintaining a steady presence five months after debuting at No. 1. Meanwhile, “Swim” has spent 22 consecutive weeks within the Top 5 of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.
