Former Momoland Member JooE Makes Her Musical Debut in ‘Caffeine’

JooE, formerly of the group Momoland, has officially started her career as a musical actress.

On the 21st, JooE met audiences through her performance in the musical ‘Caffeine’ at The Good Theater in Seoul.

In the creative musical ‘Caffeine’, which is set in a cafe named ‘Love is…’ where coffee and wine coexist after 6 PM, JooE stars as Sejin, the cafe’s manager and barista.

Sejin is a character who goes to the cafe every morning and leaves thoughts about love on a chalkboard. Known for her bright and bold personality, JooE portrayed Sejin with her own unique facial expressions and tone, bringing out the colorful traits of the character.

In particular, JooE enhanced the lively atmosphere of the show with her witty expressions and lovable charm. She also anchored the play by seamlessly matching chemistry with her co-star.

JooE expressed her thoughts, saying, “I am so happy to have successfully completed my first performance as Sejin in the musical ‘Caffeine’. I want to sincerely thank all the staff and fellow actors who helped me before the show went up. Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real, but I want to grow even more as JooE throughout the remaining performances.”
