Actor Choi Duk-moon is continuously proving his strong presence as a ‘box office fairy’ through a busy and relentless acting career.

Starting with the TVING original series ‘The Legendary Soldier’s Cook’ earlier this year, Choi has been filling the small screen with successive appearances in Netflix’s ‘True Education’, JTBC’s ‘Apartment’, and MBC’s ‘A Married Woman’s Killer’. Recently, he made a special appearance as Yeom Jae-seob in the SBS drama ‘Flex X Cop Season 2’, delivering a heavy plot twist and driving up viewer ratings.

In episodes 5 and 6 of ‘Flex X Cop Season 2′, Choi captured viewers’ attention as Yeom Jae-seob, the CEO of Rosebud Hotel. Although initially suspected as a murder suspect, he skillfully unraveled the mysterious atmosphere at the center of a plot twist where his hidden lover Jeon Yu-jin (played by Park Tae-rin) was revealed to be the true culprit. Thanks to Choi’s captivating performance, the viewership ratings for those episodes surged by 2 percentage points.

Currently, Choi is playing a scene-stealing role as Na Guk-jin, the director of Not Today, in MBC’s ‘A Married Woman’s Killer’, which ranks first in its time slot. He perfectly portrays a deeply caring boss who appears nagging on the outside but genuinely cares for his reporters more than anyone, enhancing the quality of the series with his unadorned yet sincere acting.

In addition, he showcased his wide acting spectrum by playing Kang Il-yong, the father of Kang Sung-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon), delivering warm familial love in ‘The Legendary Soldier’s Cook’, and playing Cheon Sang-yeol, the head of academic affairs at Chukmyung Foreign Language High School, perfectly digesting a twist villain role in ‘True Education’.
