In a strategic initiative to boost global fandom engagement, organizer CJ ENM officially launched the 2026 MAMA Awards Fan Festa framework on August 28, 2026. The announcement coincided with opening global applications for the 3rd annual “MAMA Super Fan” recruitment campaign on the K-pop platform Mnet Plus.
The annual flagship event is scheduled to take place over two days on November 20 and 21 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan.

Designed to give music fans a direct role in the awards experience, the newly established 2026 MAMA Awards Fan Festa introduces interactive online programs, offline convention experiences, and brand collaborations leading up to the November broadcast.

Super Fan Recruitment Details and Benefits
Parallel to the Fan Festa announcement, CJ ENM opened international recruitment for its 3rd edition of the MAMA Super Fan program. Open to fans of any age or nationality through Mnet Plus, applications remain open from August 27 through September 6, 2026.
Selected Super Fans receive official voting privileges to nominate candidates for the “Fans’ Choice” category and are issued a digital Super Fan identification card.
