South Korean actor Lee Seo Jin recently shocked singer BIBI by revealing he had no idea what her mega-hit song ‘Bam Yang Gang’ was. During the premiere of the SBS variety show ‘Whatever You Want – Secretary Jin’ (hereinafter ‘Secretary Jin’) on August 28, 2026, singer BIBI appeared as the special ‘my star,’ leading to her hilarious first meeting with cast members Lee Seo Jin and Kim Kwang Gyu.
Waterbomb Festival Mishap and Hilarious Savage Roast
The hosts first crossed paths with BIBI at the ‘Waterbomb 2026’ event. Due to backlight issues and failing eyesight, the duo initially struggled to recognize her right away. Kim Kwang Gyu later tried to impress the singer by bringing up her track ‘The Weekend,’ which charted 29th on U.S. radio, and her music video ‘Bam Yang Gang’ creator hits with over 100 million views. However, BIBI pointed out that out of her setlist, only ‘Bam Yang Gang’ would be performed, prompting Kim Kwang Gyu to expose that Lee Seo Jin had no clue what the song was.
A surprised BIBI reacted by asking, “The song ‘Bam Yang Gang’? Isn’t this level basically telling someone not to listen to music at all?” A flustered Lee Seo Jin defended himself by explaining, “No, I don’t really know singers or songs. I only listen to pop.” Unfortunately, his excuse backfired, causing BIBI to deliver a blunt and hilarious, “You’re a bit annoying…” which drew massive laughter on set. Lee Seo Jin further clarified that his music tastes are stuck in his student days, listening strictly to older pop music rather than modern tracks, leading BIBI to hum vintage tunes and bond with him over it.
