The upcoming Korean BL drama titled ‘Boy, Caution’ is set to capture global audiences with its dangerous and captivating teacher-student romance, premiering exclusively worldwide on September 30. Produced by the renowned BL streaming platform Heavenly, this original series aims to target the global market in the latter half of 2026.
Star-Studded Cast and Creative Team Behind the Series
‘Boy, Caution’ follows the emotional and perilous journey between Jang Gi-woo, a temporary teacher carrying deep scars from his past, and Lee Hyun-jae, a 21-year-old repeating student whom everyone avoids. As they meet at school, they recognize each other’s wounds and fall into a tense, delicate attraction across the critical boundary of teacher and student.
The casting lineup has already drawn significant attention. Award-winning actor Ryu Se-il, who captured the Young Theatre Award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards in 2025, takes on the role of Jang Gi-woo. Meanwhile, rookie actor Ha Jung-hoon steps up to play the rebellious student Lee Hyun-jae, bringing an intense energy of lack and obsession in his very first television drama role.
