Dancer Bata’s Perspective on Bata marriage Ji Ye-eun

As 1994-born celebrity couple actress Ji Ye-eun and dancer Bata announce their upcoming December wedding in South Korea, Bata’s past remarks about family and marriage are resurfacing and drawing significant attention. In March of last year, Bata appeared on the YouTube channel ‘RUACH WAVE’ in a video titled ‘The Main Character of the Jennie Challenge! Dancer Bata’s Love Letter,’ where he shared his honest thoughts on life, dance, and marriage.

Reflecting on Family Values and Low Birth Rates

During the YouTube interview, when asked about his career goals, Bata stated that he did not have many professional goals because he loves creating choreography and dancing in South Korea right now. When asked if he wanted to convey a specific message through his dance, Bata noted the low birth rate in South Korea and pointed out how mainstream media frequently highlights the negative aspects of marriage. He expressed a unique goal to express the true value of marriage and how wonderful having children can be through his art. He added that his ideal future would be holding a baby in his arms.

When questioned whether he felt a stronger ambition for his career or for an early marriage, Bata admitted that he desired marriage more. He even left a playful video message for his future wife, saying, ‘Future wife, let’s live well. Fighting!’ According to reports, Ji Ye-eun and Bata met while attending the same church and developed into romantic partners. After going public with their relationship in April, the couple is set to hold their wedding ceremony at a location in Seoul on December 12.
