Jeon Soyeon Opens Up About Her First Club Experiences

Jeon Soyeon recently surprised fans by revealing that she visited clubs three times while preparing for her upcoming music in South Korea. Ahead of her new album release, the (G)I-DLE leader and acclaimed hitmaker appeared on veteran singer Seo In-young’s YouTube show, titled Reborn Seo In-young, which aired on September 9, 2026.

During the episode, Seo In-young—who is preparing her first new album in 10 years—expressed her admiration for Jeon Soyeon’s musical genius. Comparing their younger days, Seo In-young mentioned that she used to spend all her time in clubs during her youth. In response, Jeon Soyeon confessed, “I actually went to a club for the very first time recently. I thought I needed to experience a club to look like someone who knows how to have fun.”

Why Clubbing Just Didn’t Fit Her Style

Detailing her adventures across nightlife districts in South Korea, Jeon Soyeon added, “I went to two places in Itaewon and one in Gangnam. But I quickly realized that clubbing just doesn’t fit my personality, so I’m never going back.” The star also shared insights into her modest lifestyle, mentioning that she lacks materialistic desires and looks forward to going shopping with Seo In-young in the future, as reported by OSEN.
