During a recent appearance on Jay Park’s official YouTube channel ‘JAY PARK’ for the content series ‘MORE TALK with CHUNG HA #2’, the two artists discussed the conclusion of her exclusive contract, which wrapped up in September. Reflecting on her time with the agency, Chung Ha revealed that when she first joined MORE VISION, she was completely drained of energy and emotionally exhausted. She shared that had Jay Park not stepped in and reached out to her when she was struggling with severe burnout, she might have quietly disappeared from the entertainment industry altogether.

Jay Park acknowledged the risks of taking on an established artist like Chung Ha when MORE VISION was still a relatively young company, expressing appreciation for her trust. Chung Ha, who originally debuted as a member of the project group I.O.I through Mnet’s ‘Produce 101’ in 2016 and launched her successful solo career in 2017, signed with MORE VISION in October 2023.
