Cortis billboard 200 success continues to soar as the rookie group proves their powerful global presence and long-term popularity. According to Big Hit Music on September 16, the latest U.S. Billboard charts (dated September 19) show that Cortis’s second mini-album, ‘GREENGREEN,’ ranked No. 188 on the main ‘Billboard 200’ album chart. After entering the chart at No. 3, the album has successfully remained on the list for 18 consecutive weeks.
Following BTS with Record-Breaking Chart Longevity
With this achievement, Cortis has set the second-longest charting record for a single album by a K-pop group under the same label, following their senior group BTS and their album ‘ARIRANG,’ which charted for 25 consecutive weeks. Notably, this milestone is gaining extra attention as Cortis accomplishes this feat just one year after their debut. This marks the longest-running entry on the chart for any single album released by a K-pop boy group debuting within the last five years.
Dominating Multiple Billboard Charts
Alongside their Billboard 200 success, the album ‘GREENGREEN’ also secured No. 4 on the ‘World Albums’ chart and No. 16 on ‘Top Album Sales.’ Meanwhile, their first mini-album released last year, ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,’ landed at No. 5 and No. 27 on the respective charts. Furthermore, Cortis climbed four spots from the previous week to rank No. 74 on the ‘Artist 100’ chart, cementing their rising status in the global music industry from South Korea.
