WJSN SeolA has officially announced her departure from Starship Entertainment after spending 15 years with the agency as both a trainee and a member of the popular South Korean girl group.
On September 17, SeolA took to her personal social media accounts to share a heartfelt handwritten letter and a long message detailing her departure. Reflecting on her journey, she mentioned how Starship has been by her side through every major milestoneβfrom her days as a trainee dreaming of a debut, to stepping onto the stage for the first time as a member of WJSN, and eventually releasing music under her own name.
Reflecting on a 15-Year Journey in South Korea
During her 15 years with the agency, SeolA experienced immense growth, noting that while there were joyful days and moments of frustration when things did not go as planned, every single experience shaped who she is today. She expressed sincere gratitude to all the staff members at Starship Entertainment who worked tirelessly alongside her through countless moments.
SeolA also shared a touching message for WJSNβs devoted fandom, Ujung. She credited the love and support from her fans as the driving force that allowed her to continuously pursue her passion for music without burning out over the years.
