South Korean actor Ji Chang-wook recently opened up about a secret private social media account he once used exclusively to show off his luxury goods and cars. During a September 2026 appearance on a Netflix Korea YouTube promotional video alongside Yoo Byung-jae, the star shared his humorous behind-the-scenes experiences with hidden online profiles.
Why He Created a Secret ‘Flex’ Profile
Ji explained that while buying expensive items occasionally is normal, posting them on his official public account felt a bit too boastful or awkward. Seeking an outlet to satisfy his urge to flex, he created a private account where nobody else could see his posts. He admitted to uploading classic flexing tropes, such as taking a photo of a luxury car’s steering wheel or showing off an expensive watch on his wrist, purely for his own personal satisfaction.
The Account Has Now Been Deleted
However, Ji noted that the fun wore off after realizing that flexing loses its meaning if nobody is actually watching. When Yoo Byung-jae jokingly warned that fans would likely scour the internet to track down the hidden page, Ji reassured everyone that the secret account no longer exists and has been permanently deleted.
