Kwak Dong-yeon Surprised by Cast Send-Off

Kwak Dong-yeon recently experienced an emotional moment when his close castmates surprised him with a heartwarming military enlistment party in South Korea. During the final episode broadcast on KBS 2TV, fellow stars Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jinyoung, and Chae Soo-bin came together to celebrate his journey before his mandatory service.

Heartfelt Gifts and Emotional Letters

Set roughly 20 days prior to his actual enlistment, the cast prepared a cozy morning spread featuring pancakes and pasta before revealing a custom cake and gift box. Kim Yoo-jung penned a touching acrostic poem wishing him a strong and fresh start, while the gift box was packed with military essentials including sunscreen, protective gear, insoles, a personal cutlery set, and a tumbler. A sentimental photo album and custom novelty coupons—ranging from a celebrity autograph request coupon to a morale-boosting song voucher—brought the actor to tears as he privately read heartfelt letters from his friends.
