USPEER Returns Strong After a One-Year Hiatus
USPEER has made an emotional return to the music scene after a one-year hiatus, opening up about their journey, concept changes, and achieving a career-high with their latest release. Originally debuting in June 2025 under WM Entertainment as the agency’s first rookie girl group in 10 years since Oh My Girl, the group captured attention with their sporty and gender-neutral charm. Following a period of reorganization into a six-member lineup featuring Sian, Soyi, Seoyu, Daon, Chaena, and Roa under MW Entertainment, USPEER returned on June 17 with their first mini-album, BITE DISTRICT.
Achieving Career Highs and Overcoming Despair
The group’s bold transformation in music, choreography, and visuals proved successful, doubling their previous sales records and topping the Hantel real-time album and music charts. Reflecting on the emotional comeback, member Seoyu described the promotion period as a ‘desperate moment’ born from deep yearning during their hiatus. Sian shared that the overwhelming support and realization of the true value of performing made this album deeply unforgettable. Furthermore, their successful music show run—highlighted by enthusiastic praise from web show host Kian84—left the members in tears of gratitude as they expanded their reach to international fans in Japan and Taiwan.
