Lee Seung Chul Lights Up New York Times Square

Lee Seung Chul, celebrating a monumental 40th anniversary since his debut, has captured global attention by lighting up a massive digital billboard in the heart of New York Times Square. The viral video features the legendary South Korea artist delivering a powerful message: “If you live through it, you’ll know,” followed by a sweet piano performance.

40th Anniversary Album, New Music, and Tour

Marking 40 years in the music industry, Lee Seung Chul is maintaining a busy schedule following a special KBS Chuseok broadcast. On September 30 at 6 PM KST, he will release his brand-new single ‘A Story of Our Own’ alongside its music video, featuring a self-composed track by singer WOODZ. Furthermore, he is preparing for a major 40th-anniversary album and his upcoming national tour ‘THE VOICE’, which kicks off in Gwangju in November before traveling to major cities including Daejeon, Daegu, Seoul, Incheon, and Busan.

Pro Bono Campaign Driven by Loyalty

Despite his packed schedule, Lee Seung Chul voluntarily participated in the Times Square campaign without pay, driven by deep loyalty to his philanthropic partners. Reflecting on his milestone, Lee shared, “I approach my music with the mindset of a rookie singer in my 40th year, and I will live a life that spreads positive influence to everyone through my songs,” as reported by OSEN.
