IVE Rei is set to participate in her very first solo original soundtrack (OST) since her debut.
On September 27 at 6 PM KST, various online music platforms will release ‘Hello’, the first OST for the new Disney+ and Channel A drama ‘Dive to You’, featuring IVE’s Rei.
IVE Rei Lends Her Voice to ‘Dive to You’ OST ‘Hello’
‘Hello’ is a track that captures the desperate desire to travel back in time and reconnect with a precious person. It combines an emotional piano melody with grand string arrangements to amplify the dramatic scale of the series. Music director Sung-jin Huh, renowned for hit works like ‘Descendants of the Sun’, and composer Dori collaborated to elevate the song’s overall quality.
Simultaneous Korean and Japanese Release
Fitting the characteristics of a Korea-Japan joint production project, the new track will be released simultaneously in both Korean and Japanese versions. As a Japanese-born member, Rei is expected to deliver a deep lingering resonance to listeners by perfectly digesting the unique emotions of both languages with her clear and delicate vocals.
Meanwhile, ‘Dive to You’, which premiered on September 26, is a time-slip salvation romance drama where twin siblings Yoon Ha-na and Yoon Ha-ru use an old camcorder to travel back to the past in order to save their first love, Jung Woo-jae. The series is garnering high anticipation with a cast of trendy youth actors including Kim Ji-yeon, Park Seo-ham, Jang Se-hyuk, and Moon Seung-yu.
