On September 28 at 6 PM KST, Yesung released the music video and sound source for ‘Winds of Time,’ a B-side track from his upcoming 10th solo debut anniversary album, across various digital music sites.
Yesung Returns with 2nd Full-Length Album ‘Where We Are’
Slated for release on October 6, Yesung’s second full-length album ‘Where We Are’ marks his first domestic release in about two years, following his sixth mini-album ‘It’s Complicated’ released in November 2024.
As the album title suggests, this new release centers around ‘time,’ looking back on Yesung’s 10-year solo journey. Through his signature musical depth, he delicately explores the question of ‘where we stand now’ after countless changes and moments have drifted by.
The Emotional Depth of ‘Winds of Time’
Selected as the opening track for his second full-length album and pre-released on this day, ‘Winds of Time’ is an alternative pop track featuring a calm yet lonely mood driven by minimalist acoustic instrumentation.
Yesung raised the track’s authenticity by participating directly in the lyric writing. The song captures a poignant reflection on the past and an inner determination to fully live out the present through candid, self-confessional lyrics.
