Han Ga-in, the renowned South Korean actress, has addressed recent allegations of ‘stealth marketing’ (undisclosed paid advertisements) on her YouTube channel by providing concrete proof of her purchase history.
Providing Evidence to Clear Suspicion
Following her initial statement, Han Ga-in released a second clarification on September 29, sharing official payment records to substantiate her claims. She apologized for the delay, explaining that it took time to retrieve the official transaction logs via Naver Pay. According to the evidence, she personally purchased ‘Dongkook Albumin’—totaling three boxes of 30 bottles each—for 616,000 KRW (approximately $465 USD) on July 23, 2024, well before her channel’s launch.
Reaffirming Authenticity of Content
Han Ga-in emphasized that the supplements featured in her November 2024 video were bought with her own money and were not part of any sponsorship deal. She further noted that she re-purchased the product in March 2025 based on personal preference. The actress stated, ‘I am grateful for those who waited while I prepared this documentation. I will continue to listen to your feedback and be even more careful with my content creation moving forward.’
