Laguna Beach Closes Agate Street Beach Access
City officials announced on the 29th that they have closed the stairs near the intersection of Agate Street and Ocean Way to restrict resident access and assess the damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the Laguna Beach rock collapse.
Geologists to Inspect the Collapse Site
Local authorities stated that professional geologists will conduct a thorough on-site investigation to determine the stability of the remaining cliffside and ensure public safety before reopening the area.
