Cortis REDRED continues its remarkable long-term success, taking home the number one trophy on a major music program long after wrapping up promotional activities.
Cortis Claims 12th Music Show Win with REDRED
According to the KBS2 ‘Music Bank’ official homepage K-Chart for the first week of October, the boy group Cortis (Martin, James, Juhoon, Sunghyun, Gunho) claimed the top spot with their mini 2nd album title track ‘REDRED’. Released back in April, the song climbed back to the top roughly six months later, marking their 12th music broadcast trophy overall.
This achievement has drawn significant attention because it occurred about four months after Cortis concluded their official broadcast promotions. Despite recording zero points in the broadcast frequency category, they managed to reach number one by scoring high across digital music, physical albums, social media, and K-pop fan voting categories.
Long-Term Chart Success and Global Impact
Having previously achieved a grand slam by sweeping all five major domestic music shows with ‘REDRED’, Cortis added yet another trophy to their collection. Even without broadcast appearances influencing the latest chart, the track’s public appeal and the unwavering support of their global fandom drove them back to the summit.
The group’s international presence remains just as strong. According to the latest Billboard charts for October 3, ‘REDRED’ spent its 22nd consecutive week on both the ‘Global 200’ at 198th and the ‘Global Excl. US’ at 100th, proving their consistent popularity overseas.
Fresh off these achievements, Cortis is expanding their global footprint. On October 9, they are set to perform as the sole K-pop artist invited to the ‘Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2026’.
