IDID (comprising Jang Yong-hoon, Kim Min-jae, Park Won-bin, Choo Yu-chan, Park Seong-hyeon, Baek Jun-hyuk, and Jung Se-min) appeared on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo Live in Tokyo,’ which aired on the 5th, to perform their title track ‘FLY!’ from their single album ‘IDID Single Album [FLY!].’
The ‘Inkigayo Live in Tokyo’ is a large-scale K-pop concert recently held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Based on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo,’ the global project brought together artists from South Korea, Japan, and around the world to create special musical moments amid enthusiastic responses from local fans.
The concert was themed around ‘Welcome to our Muniverse,’ combining words starting with ‘M’ and ‘UNIVERSE’ to signify an infinite world. The ‘Muniverse’ concept conveys the message that every moment shared through music becomes a unique universe, adding deeper meaning to the global music festival as artists and fans connect through song.
Performing alongside other global artists at ‘Inkigayo Live in Tokyo,’ IDID harmonized with Japanese audiences through music. Marking their 1st anniversary since debut, the group further expanded their global reach by leaving a powerful impression on fans at a major Japanese venue.
On this day, IDID grabbed attention instantly by appearing on stage in all-white styling. They showcased their individual charms through subtle member-specific details such as gloves, hoods, and white t-shirts, presenting a clean yet distinct look for each of the seven members.
During their performance of ‘FLY!,’ IDID’s signature refreshing energy and solid performance skills truly shined. The seven members demonstrated flawless teamwork with precise formations and disciplined choreography that effortlessly filled the expansive Belluna Dome stage.
They vividly expressed the charm of ‘FLY!’ with high-energy choreography suited to the song’s vibe, alongside carefully controlled dynamic movements. Displaying stable live vocals without a single waver even on a large stage, backed by the members’ solid synchronization, they achieved a high level of stage completion. Powerful movements and relaxed stage manners matched to the scale of the venue quickly captivated local spectators.
Having debuted in September of last year with their first mini-album ‘I did it.’, IDID is a rising 5th-generation boy group that secured a music show win just 12 days after their debut.
Continuing their steady growth trajectory, IDID recently received the ‘Hottest’ award at the ‘2026 The Fact Music Awards,’ an honor given to artists demonstrating immense growth potential as K-pop musicians. Securing consecutive awards at major award ceremonies within just one year of debut, they are cementing their status as next-generation K-pop contenders.
