BOYNEXTDOOR is demonstrating formidable power in Japan with their latest repackage album.
Their agency, KOZ Entertainment, announced on the 7th, “According to Oricon, BOYNEXTDOOR’s 1st full-length repackage album HOME: DELUXE entered the latest weekly album ranking at No. 4. Despite reflecting only three days of sales after its release, it secured a spot in the top tier, showing remarkable presence.”
Previously, BOYNEXTDOOR’s 1st full-length repackage album topped the weekly album chart on Hanteo Chart, a major domestic album sales aggregation site in Korea. Following its release in Japan on the 2nd, it also climbed straight to the top of the daily album ranking.
Even though this new release adds fresh tracks to their 1st full-length album HOME—which achieved million-seller status in its first week—the repackage surpassed 700,000 copies in initial sales (first-week sales following release) after dropping on the 28th of last month. This milestone clearly highlights the group’s steep upward trajectory.
Additionally, BOYNEXTDOOR is capturing the hearts of global fans, with the repackage album’s title track ANIMAL surpassing 1 million cumulative streams on Spotify.
