Weverse Con Festival India, HYBE’s premier global music festival, is set to make its highly anticipated international debut next year.
HYBE announced that its local subsidiary, HYBE India, will host the ‘Weverse Con Festival India’ in New Delhi for two days, spanning March 27 to 28.
Launched in 2023, the festival has established itself as a major event connecting global music fans across musical genres and generations. It brings together a diverse lineup of artists, ranging from K-pop rookies to living legends, while continuously expanding its horizons to include J-pop and indie bands.
Starting with 20 teams in its inaugural year, the festival scaled up to 30 teams this year, solidifying its status as a premier global pop music festival.
For its first overseas expansion, India will host a unique cultural celebration blending K-pop, local music, and the shared fan cultures of both nations. Top-tier K-pop acts performing on the world stage and leading figures in the Indian music scene will fill the stage over two days.
Beyond live performances, the event will feature interactive fan events and immersive K-pop cultural programs. Fans will have the opportunity to actively participate, extending the festival’s core value of enhanced fan experiences to Indian audiences.
The expansion to India marks a significant milestone as HYBE scales its multi-year festival brand globally. The event was meticulously planned to reward the steadfast support of Indian K-pop fans while building a vibrant bridge between local Indian culture and K-pop fandom.
Since establishing its local subsidiary last year, HYBE India has steadily expanded its footprint by holding auditions across 23 cities and hosting engaging fan events. Building on this foundation, HYBE aims to deliver an unforgettable festival experience tailored for Indian fans.
A HYBE representative stated that the festival serves as a practical realization of the company’s ‘Multi-home, Multi-genre’ strategy, combining local and K-pop cultures while celebrating devoted Indian supporters. The company plans to leverage its accumulated global expertise to deliver top-tier performances and diverse fan experiences, further enriching the global entertainment ecosystem.
