According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system on the 9th, Jung Woo-sung mid-term resigned from his position as an inside director at Artist Company on the 2nd. Due to his resignation as an inside director, his special relationship with the major shareholder was resolved, and his personally held shares were newly reported. The shares held by Jung Woo-sung amount to 1,714,108 shares, representing a 10.99% stake.
Co-founded with Lee Jung-jae in 2012
Artist Company was established in 2012 by actor Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung, widely known as the ‘Cheongdam Couple,’ and both were appointed as inside directors of the company. Their term expiration date was originally set for March 28 of next year, but Jung Woo-sung stepped down before completing his full term. Following his resignation as a director, the reporting method for Jung Woo-sung’s shares also changed. Jung Woo-sung’s shares, which had previously been aggregated with Lee Jung-jae’s holdings, were reported separately under his own name. Lee Jung-jae’s holdings of 4,225,882 shares and a 27.10% stake remain unchanged.
