Group TUIDE has captivated music show stages with their refreshing performances and bright energy.
TUIDE (Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Se아, Lee Hani) performed their 1st mini album [TUNE & PLAY] b-side track ‘Echo’ on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’, which aired on the 8th. This special performance was prepared to repay fans who have been eagerly waiting for ‘Echo’ stages since their ‘SUN KISS’ promotions.
While ‘SUN KISS’ showcased a relaxed groove, TUIDE delivered a much more dynamic energy through ‘Echo’. Their choreography, which featured long arms and legs stretching out smoothly to a powerful beat, caught the eye, while cheerful steps utilizing house dance continued nonstop to boost the immersion of the stage.
In particular, the ‘domino jump’ section, which received a great response among fans, was picked as the highlight. The movement where members leaped up sequentially in sync with the dimensional sound delivered a visual thrill, as if the audio was spreading out into space. The natural chemistry and organic movements of the seven members highlighted the unique charm of ‘Echo’.
The signature hand gestures matching the chorus lyrics “Eenie minie moe—I see ya” left a strong addictive impression. The members showcased their witty expressive skills while effortlessly riding the rhythm amidst powerful group choreography, exuding relaxation. Their bright smiles and lively expressions throughout the stage fully conveyed TUIDE’s unique positive energy.
‘Echo’ is a deep house and uptempo classic house genre track that captures the feelings of gradually falling for someone you like. It features a witty concept that compares situations crossing in different directions to a one-sided echo phenomenon, expressing the desire to connect through three-dimensional stereo sound. The sensory sound and unique metaphors add fun to listening.
Meanwhile, TUIDE will continue their ‘Echo’ performances by appearing sequentially on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ today (the 9th), MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 10th, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ on the 11th.
