[OSEN=Sun Mi-kyung] Group Seventeen member Hoshi is meeting fans with a new song.
Pledis Entertainment announced on the 10th that Seventeen’s Hoshi will release his new song ‘BOYFRIEND’, featuring a youthful confession, at 6 PM today.
‘BOYFRIEND’, which Hoshi participated in writing lyrics for, is an R&B-based pop song that captures the feeling of wanting to take a step closer to someone you like. Hoshi expressed the initial flutter of a first encounter and clumsy feelings of love in his own language.
In particular, it is known that he expressed the fluttering excitement toward the other person directly through Hoshi’s unique energy, raising curiosity. The shuffle rhythm groove and refreshing synthesizer synthesizer sound create a cheerful, cool, and bold love song.
Hoshi enlisted as an active-duty soldier in the army last September and has been serving after being dispatched to the newly established Army Taekwondo Demonstration Team in January of this year. However, last month, six months ahead of his discharge, he was diagnosed with a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and is scheduled to undergo surgery.
