Band Daybreak completely took over the stage on ‘Immortal Songs’, showcasing the true essence of a superstar.

Daybreak appeared on Part 1 of the composer Park Geun-tae special of KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’, which aired on the 10th, and rearranged Jewelry’s representative hit ‘Super Star’ into a dynamic band version.

Appearing amid enthusiastic support from original singer Park Jung-ah, the members added funky rhythms and powerful instrumental arrangements to the original song to unleash a unique charm. In particular, alongside Lee Won-seok’s explosive vocals, they playfully pulled off their trademark ‘shaking dance’ choreography, heating up the atmosphere on set. Daybreak’s unique free-spirited energy and solid musical performance shined, proving their stage dominance as the ‘festival emperor’.

Composer Park Geun-tae, who watched their performance, did not hold back his praise, saying, “They are one of my favorite bands. There were diverse and experimental elements beyond my expectations. They showed freedom and funkiness within the framework of rock. They are so good.” Park Jung-ah also gave favorable reviews, saying, “It was perfect. One hundred out of one hundred points. I felt an incredible amount of energy.”>

Daybreak shares a special connection, having previously participated in Sung Si-kyung’s ‘We Make a Good Match’ remake project in 2017 at the suggestion of Park Geun-tae. Demonstrating their exceptional musical connection once again through this competition, Daybreak is set to meet fans at their upcoming small-theater concert ‘ONE NIGHT LIVE : ONL’ Vol.3, which will be held at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae Live Hall on November 19.
