Global boy group KO1KEYZ has successfully wrapped up their successful debut week of domestic music broadcast schedules, showcasing the incredible potential of global rookies.
After announcing their simultaneous debut in Korea and Japan on the 7th, KO1KEYZ made their consecutive appearances on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 8th, followed by KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’, performing the Korean version of their title track ‘KO1KEYZ’.
The members displayed flawless teamwork by utilizing their large-scale advantages with diverse formations, a powerful dance break, and dynamic synchronized choreography without a single flaw. They radiated rookie-like vibrant energy through heart gestures targeting fan hearts, iconic choreography conveying the song’s meaning, and visuals transitioning smoothly between school looks and retro casual wear.
This fierce popularity was also proven through the charts. On their debut day alone, KO1KEYZ recorded approximately 500,000 physical sales locally in Japan, instantly landing at No. 1 on both the Oricon Daily Single Ranking and the Billboard Japan Top Singles Sales chart.
Having completely sold out all shows for their first solo fan meetings held in Tokyo and Kobe in August and September, KO1KEYZ also sold out all four sessions of their upcoming solo fan meeting scheduled for November 7-8 at the Seoul Blue Square Mastercard Hall, proving their solid fandom. Having successfully fired the signal flare for their debut, the group plans to continue active promotions by navigating through music broadcasts and various web content.
