Epik High member Tablo recently revealed that he had to delay announcing his marriage to actress Kang Hye-jung because it unexpectedly overlapped with fellow member Tukutz’s announcement.
On November 15, a video titled ‘Is it okay to go to a nail shop with a female friend?’ was released on Epik High’s official YouTube channel. During the video, Tablo and Davichi visited a nail shop to chat and share various discussions. While talking about different topics, Kang Min-kyung brought up a dilemma: “I discussed this because my friends talked about it recently. Is it considered rude to announce a pregnancy while attending a wedding invitation gathering?” After listening to various opinions, Tablo expressed that he could understand the situation.
Tablo shared a personal story, saying, “When I had decided to marry Hye-jung, I gathered our members and friends. We were sitting at a very large coffee shop in Gangnam, and the two of us stood up to say, ‘We are getting married.’ No lie, right when the two of us were halfway up, Tukutz suddenly jumped up from the opposite side and shouted, ‘I’m getting married!’” His surprising story shocked everyone.
What was even more surprising was that Tukutz simply wanted to share his own marriage news and had no idea about Tablo’s plans. Tablo explained, “The funny thing is, he didn’t know I was going to talk about marriage, and I didn’t know he was going to talk about it either. So when Tukutz shared his marriage news, we didn’t mention ours. We kept quiet for a week so Tukutz could receive all the congratulations,” showcasing his warm leadership.
