TWICE member Jihyo has officially left JYP Entertainment and established her own independent agency, EMITHAUS.
On October 21 at noon, Jihyo announced the establishment of EMITHAUS directly through her personal social media channels, signaling a fresh new leap forward as an artist.
With this move, Jihyo departs from JYP Entertainment, the agency she has been with for 21 years since her trainee days, to embark on a journey of independence. EMITHAUS is a company aimed at expanding an artist’s unique individuality and creative potential through music and various types of content.
Through EMITHAUS, Jihyo is determined to prove her new challenges and boundless potential as an artist. Furthermore, she plans to expand her business ventures by scouting and recruiting diverse artists in the future.
Having announced her brand-new start, Jihyo plans to connect with fans not only through TWICE group activities but also via active solo endeavors.
