While the drama Joo Ji-hoon stars in, ‘Remarried Empress’, is creating a global syndrome, a recent two-shot of actors Lee Jong-suk and Joo Ji-hoon has been revealed.

On the 4th, Lee Jong-suk posted a photo on his personal social media with the caption “Consumer Type,” featuring Joo Ji-hoon.

In the photo, Lee Jong-suk is riding an elevator for a schedule. Joo Ji-hoon accompanied him along with the staff, leading to speculation that this was related to a schedule for ‘Remarried Empress’.

Even in the elevator with minimal lighting, Lee Jong-suk boasted glowing, fair skin. Joo Ji-hoon displayed a more sun-tanned, bronze complexion compared to Lee Jong-suk, and both drew smiles with their playful expressions and poses.

The reason Joo Ji-hoon’s appearance is drawing attention is due to the release of ‘Remarried Empress’. After the show’s release, viewers admired the acting skills of Joo Ji-hoon, who plays the Eastern Empire’s Emperor Sovieshu, while also pointing out that his complexion hindered their immersion. The reason was that Joo Ji-hoon’s facial skin tone appeared too dark, failing to blend harmoniously with the bright imperial background and gorgeous costumes, making him stand out alone.

In particular, because the skin tones of co-stars like Shin Min-a, Lee Se-young, and Lee Jong-suk are relatively bright, Joo Ji-hoon’s skin tone has become a point of discussion.

Although Joo Ji-hoon has been pointed out for his earthy complexion in the drama, he actually showcases a healthy blood circulation and facial tone in real life. Notably, next to Lee Jong-suk and Lee Se-young, he catches the eye by wearing a sleeveless shirt and posing uniquely.

The Disney+ original series ‘Remarried Empress’ is a romance fantasy epic where Navier (Shin Min-a), the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire, receives a notice of divorce from Emperor Sovieshu (Joo Ji-hoon), who fell for the runaway slave Rashta (Lee Se-young), and instead demands approval for her remarriage with Heinrey (Lee Jong-suk), the prince of the Western Kingdom.
