Amazon has newly added Amazon Prime UberEats benefits to its membership program in the United States. Prime members can now order food from hundreds of thousands of restaurants registered on UberEats directly through Amazon.com and the Amazon Shopping app, with delivery fees waived for orders of $25 or more. The service goes into effect immediately.
To celebrate the launch, special promotional perks are also being provided. For the first 14 days following the partnership launch, Prime members can receive a $20 discount on each of their first two orders of $25 or more.
This partnership marks the second time Amazon has included food delivery services in its Prime benefits. Amazon has included Grubhub in its Prime membership perks since 2024, but Grubhub-related benefits will be phased out sequentially as the UberEats partnership begins.
Amazon Prime is a paid membership costing $14.99 per month or $139 per year, offering free shipping and various additional services. With this new UberEats partnership, the perks now extend deeply into the food delivery sector.
Uber stated that this partnership is designed to make it more natural, convenient, and affordable for Prime members to order food on UberEats.
