The main stars of Avengers Doomsday, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, along with Marvel Studios chief and producer Kevin Feige, are set to meet Korean fans directly ahead of the film’s release.
On November 6, representatives for Avengers Doomsday announced that Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige have confirmed their visit to South Korea on December 7.
Avengers Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Russo Joe and distributed by Walt Disney Company Korea, depicts the massive war between the Avengers and the absolute villain Doctor Doom, who threatens to engulf the entire world. The film promises an unprecedented cinematic experience with the introduction of the historic villain and an all-out battle among heroes.
This upcoming visit holds special significance as two iconic MCU actors and the producer who has steered every MCU film will gather in one place to share a special moment with domestic fans.
Chris Evans will be returning to South Korea with a Marvel project for the first time in 11 years, following his visit in 2015 for Avengers: Age of Ultron. Having established himself as an iconic MCU hero through his role as Steve Rogers, the first Captain America, starting from Captain America: The First Avenger to the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame, his long-awaited return has sparked immense excitement among local fans.
In particular, Chris Hemsworth, who has delivered a unique presence as the God of Thunder, Thor, is visiting South Korea for the first time for a Marvel project to promote Avengers Doomsday, drawing heightened attention. Having visited Korea last year for the filming of the Disney+ original series Limitless with Chris Hemsworth Season 2, he plans to connect closely with domestic fans once again.
Joining them is Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios who built the vast MCU universe starting with Iron Man and wrote global box office history, completing a star-studded lineup. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Kevin Feige will carry out various official schedules, including press conferences and red carpet events, to meet local media and fans.
Meanwhile, Avengers Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 16.
