[OSEN=Jang Woo-young] Rookie group A2O LITE has proven their unstoppable popularity by reclaiming the #1 spot on the Melon TOP100 chart and securing their 10th music show trophy.
A2O LITE (Young, Oa, Ayun, Aijing, Himeki, Rada, Siri, Bora, Merci) claimed first place with their debut digital single ‘NEON’ on the November 7 broadcast of MBC’s music program ‘Show! Music Core’.
They rose to the top despite not appearing on the broadcast that day. Following October 31, this marks their second consecutive week at #1 on ‘Show! Music Core’ and their 10th music show trophy overall.
The group also showcased their lingering momentum on music streaming charts. As of 4 p.m. on November 7, ‘NEON’ ranked #1 on the Melon TOP100 chart, reclaiming the top spot it had previously given up. Maintaining a strong position near the top since its release on October 13, the group achieved the simultaneous milestones of 10 music show wins and reclaiming the chart throne in less than a month since their debut.
In particular, A2O LITE proved their formidable digital power by setting a record of 10 music show wins with just a single debut track and no physical album release. Following victories on ‘The Show’, ‘Show Champion’, ‘M Countdown’, ‘Inkigayo’, and Arirang TV’s ‘SHOW K-POP’, they have continued to display rookie-defying prowess by taking the top spot for two consecutive weeks on ‘Show! Music Core’ as well.
