Actress Son Tae-young recently visited Big Bang member G-Dragon’s favorite restaurant in New York.
On the 8th, the YouTube channel ‘Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young’ uploaded a video titled “Son Tae-young’s Food Tour Finding Real Restaurants in New Jersey (+ New York GD Restaurant).”
While visiting Manhattan, Son Tae-young’s close friend mentioned, “G-Dragon and Daesung took pictures right in front of this place.” Upon entering, a staff member guided them to the exact spot, saying, “That window seat is where GD and Daesung sat.”
The two ordered the weekend-only brunch omakase. Hearing that GD and Daesung had shared a loveshot in their verification photo, Son Tae-young laughed and said, “Shouldn’t we do it too? With the exact same composition?” The staff member generously catered to them, even bringing out the one-and-only glasses used by GD and Daesung.
Additionally, the acquaintance expressed excitement, saying, “Might we run into Son Heung-min when we park a little later?” It turned out that soccer star Son Heung-min had arrived in New York the previous day for a match and was staying at the same hotel where Son Tae-young’s group was parking.
Son Tae-young remarked, “It would be great to run into Son Heung-min while parking today. If we go up together, I’m the older cousinβthough he might be younger… I think I should check, since we’re relatives,” proudly mentioning her fellow Miryang Son clan member, Son Heung-min.
