ABC Unified School District — Ys-Soo Yu Runs for 4th Term

ABC Unified School District Area 2 incumbent Ys-Soo Yu is waging an all-out campaign in the final stretch of the race as she seeks her fourth term.

Yu’s challenger in the upcoming election is Al Farebi, who previously served on the school district’s policy and legislative committee between 2006 and 2011.

Having held a kick-off and fundraising event at Shadow Park in Cerritos on the 14th, Yu has been actively reaching out to voters through door-to-door campaigning. “If the Korean-American vote consolidates, it will become a powerful force,” Yu stated.

Area 2, where Yu is running, encompasses heavily Korean-populated residential areas including northeast Cerritos, east La Mirada, and southeast Santa Fe Springs.
