aespa Winter Returns to World Tour After Shingles Recovery

Group aespa member Winter has healthily returned to team activities. aespa (Karina, Giselle, Winter, Ningning) held their world tour ‘2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : COMPLΓ†XITY – in #LOSANGELES’ on the 3rd (local time) at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, USA.

Beginning with the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome concerts on August 7th and 8th, this world tour has been stopping in Taipei, Taiwan; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Lima, Peru; Mexico City, Mexico; Hamilton, Canada; Elmont, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Miami, and Dallas in the USA.

This Los Angeles concert drew attention as Winter, who had missed the Dallas concert due to shingles, made a healthy return.

Diagnosis and Recovery Prior to Los Angeles Concert

Previously, SM Entertainment stated, “Winter experienced poor physical condition ahead of the Miami concert, but she took to the stage to continue performing out of her strong desire to be alongside the members.” The agency added, “However, as her condition did not sufficiently improve after the concert, she visited a hospital for a detailed examination, where she was diagnosed with shingles.”

Despite the diagnosis, Winter showed a strong will to participate in the scheduled performances. She monitored her condition closely until right before the show, but ultimately skipped the Dallas concert following medical advice prioritizing the artist’s health and sufficient recovery.

Resuming World Tour Activities in Los Angeles

The Dallas concert proceeded with just three members: Karina, Giselle, and Ningning. Feeling the absence of Winter, aespa added meaning to the post-concert group photo by digitally synthesizing Winter’s character into the image.

Winter joined the subsequent LA concert without issue. Having previously shown a condition severe enough to display visible blisters, Winter performed with a bright expression and participated in the group photo, successfully announcing her return.

aespa will continue their world tour across Oakland, Seattle, Vancouver in Canada, Manchester and London in the UK, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Stockholm in Sweden, Copenhagen in Denmark, Berlin in Germany, Milan in Italy, Barcelona in Spain, and Paris in France.
