Actor Ahn Jae-hyun recently found himself surprised after getting asked for an identification card at a convenience store.
On the 12th, a video titled ‘Finishing off the hoe-cnick with daytime drinking at the Han River’ was uploaded to Ahn Jae-hyun’s official YouTube channel. In the video, Ahn announced he was going on a ‘hoe-cnick,’ a trendy outing combining picnics and eating raw fish (hoe).
After purchasing raw fish at the Noryangjin Fisheries Wholesale Market, he headed straight to the Yeouido Hangang Park. Ahn expressed his excitement, saying, “This is my first time coming to Yeouido Hangang Park since I’m a Ttukseom native. I always just went to broadcasting stations. The Han River looks like a futuristic city.”
After setting up a mat, Ahn headed to a nearby convenience store. He bought bokbunjaju (Korean raspberry wine), soju, and cider to mix a popular drink known as ‘Bok-so-sa.’
The store clerk said, “You’re handsome, brother. I need to see your ID, right?” Ahn immediately searched through his bag for his identification and joked, “When people ask to see your ID, you get excited to show it, right?”
The clerk looked at Ahn’s ID and expressed surprise, saying, “Even your ID is handsome.” Later, the production crew pointed out, “Sunbaenim, you just got an ID check.” Ahn brought laughter to the set by responding, “Is this thanks to my self-care?”
