July Travel Alert: Air Premia Flight Schedule Change for LA and SF

Summer Travel Shake-up: Air Premia Cuts July Flights to Offset Fuel Costs

The “fuel crunch” of 2026 continues to reshape transpacific travel. Following its June consolidations, Air Premia has confirmed it will further reduce its flight frequency in July for Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO). By merging flights on lower-demand days, the airline hopes to maintain its competitive pricing without passing the full brunt of Level 33 fuel surcharges onto travelers.

Updated July Schedule: LA and San Francisco

If you have already booked travel for early to mid-July, please take note of the following consolidations (all times based on local departure):

1. Los Angeles (LAX) Route

  • Incheon to LA: Flights YP103 originally scheduled for July 4, 11, and 18 (10:05 PM) are moved to the following days: July 5, 12, and 19, departing at 1:00 PM as YP101.

  • LA to Incheon: Flights YP104 originally scheduled for July 4, 11, and 18 (11:30 PM) are consolidated into flights YP102 on July 5, 12, and 19, departing at 10:50 AM.

2. San Francisco (SFO) Route

  • Flights originally scheduled for July 12 and 18 have been pushed back by exactly one day. They will now operate on July 13 and 19, respectively.

Rebooking and Refund Policy

Recognizing the inconvenience during the busy summer month, Air Premia has updated its passenger protection policy:

  • Free 1-Time Change: Passengers with affected tickets are eligible for one free date change within 7 days (round-trip) of their original departure date.

The Bottom Line

Air Premia’s decision to consolidate flights during the July peak suggests that the high-fuel-price environment is expected to persist through the summer. While this “efficiency first” strategy helps keep base fares lower than legacy carriers, it places a premium on flexibility for the traveler.
