An American Airlines unruly passenger named Arthur Lundin, 67, of Tucson, Arizona, sparked massive outrage after going on a racist and homophobic rant aboard Flight 618 from Dallas to Newark. According to NBC New York and other media outlets, Lundin began hurling verbal abuse and insults at flight attendants and fellow passengers, threatening physical confrontation as the situation rapidly spiraled out of control.
Passengers and Ex-Cop Take Action with Duct Tape
Realizing the immediate danger, fellow passengers including New Jersey resident Richard O’Lenick and former police officer Juan Mehia stepped in to assist the crew.
