A new Arcadia senior housing facility is currently under development. According to recent real estate media outlet Urbanize LA, the senior residential facility ‘Ivy’ (1150 W. Colorado Blvd.) in Arcadia has reached the framing construction stage approximately eight months after breaking ground.

The project is being developed as a 3-story building featuring a total of 100 assisted living and memory care units. Various housing layouts, including studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units, are scheduled to be provided.

Some units will be designated as affordable housing for low-income residents under the condition of applying density bonus incentives approved by the City of Arcadia.

Amenities for residents will include a fitness center, common areas, and outdoor relaxation spaces, along with parking facilities capable of accommodating 70 vehicles. b.hills architecture and STUDIOSIX5 participated in the design.

The total construction cost is approximately $33 million, and completion is scheduled for the fall of 2027.
