[OSEN=Jang Woo-young] Band V01D is set to showcase a brilliant coming-of-age narrative of youth.

V01D (Song Yu-chan, Cho Ju-yeon, Kevin Park, Jung Ji-sub, Shinnosuke) will release their second mini-album ‘YOUTHQUAKE’ on various music sites at 6 PM today (the 19th).

The album title ‘YOUTHQUAKE’ is a compound word of ‘Youth’ and ‘Quake’ (shaking/earthquake), signifying the massive movement and changes created by youth.

An agency representative explained, "The album captures V01D’s growth narrative as they expand their own world by turning the moments of shaking amidst anxiety and wandering into a driving force to move forward."

This album consists of a total of five tracks, including the title track ‘My Youth’, the pre-released title track ‘Ending Credit’, as well as ‘Memory’, ‘Scream Out Now’, and ‘Best Part’. All five members participated in writing and composing the songs, showing exceptional affection for the new album. ‘My Youth’ is a track that delivers a firm message of living out one’s own youth despite the gazes of others and realistic worries, all through an intense band sound. ‘Ending Credit’ sings of a new beginning rather than an "end" over a powerful and refreshing band sound, highlighting more mature vocals and solid instrumental skills.

From ‘Memory’, a refreshing J-Rock style track capturing the sentiment of 2000s youth movies, to ‘Scream Out Now’, a explosive energy rock anthem breaking through one’s own limits, and ‘Best Part’, a fan song recording the shining moments spent with fans, the tracks complete a narrative of youth expanding from ‘me’ to ‘we’.

Agency IX Entertainment stated, "We focused on completing a growth narrative so that listeners can further discover V01D’s musical capabilities with their second mini-album in their debut year of 2026." They added, "We will show you how we advance as a growing band with mature vocals and solid instrumental skills, and we ask for your continued support."
