K-pop, Korean food, beauty products and digital content will take center stage in downtown Los Angeles later this month as “K-EXPO 2026 Los Angeles” brings together dozens of Korean companies, artists and industry leaders for a five-day cultural and business showcase.

The event, scheduled for May 23-27, aims to expand the global reach of Korean content and lifestyle industries while creating new business opportunities between Korean companies and North American partners. Organizers said the expo will feature a mix of exhibitions, live performances and business networking events focused on promoting the growing influence of Korean culture worldwide.

Event organizers are set to visit the Los Angeles City Council on May 8 for an official proclamation ceremony marking the launch of the expo. A luncheon with local business leaders and elected officials will also be held to promote the upcoming event.

Supported by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, K-EXPO has been held annually in multiple countries since its launch in 2022, including Vietnam, Thailand, France, Canada, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Organizers say the event has helped strengthen the global presence of Korean culture and businesses.

This year’s Los Angeles edition is expected to feature about 40 Korean companies representing content, entertainment and lifestyle industries.

A free public exhibition and interactive experience event will take place May 23-24 at L.A. Live Event Deck. Visitors will be able to explore a wide range of Korean cultural content, including K-dramas, animation, gaming, webtoons, AR and VR technology, beauty products and fashion. Participating companies will also hold one-on-one business meetings with North American buyers, investors and potential partners.

A K-pop concert is scheduled for May 24 at 5 p.m. at Peacock Theater. The lineup includes Jay Park, P1Harmony, LNGSHOT and a performance by the Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration team. Tickets are available through AXS.

The expo will conclude with a business matchmaking program May 26-27 at JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE, where Korean companies will meet with distributors, investors and industry professionals to discuss exports, partnerships and future collaboration opportunities.

Organizers said they expect the event to generate meaningful cultural exchange and business growth in Los Angeles, one of the largest and most influential hubs for Korean culture outside South Korea.

More information about the expo is available on the event’s Instagram page.
