Group BIGBANG successfully kicked off the Asian leg of their world tour by completely captivating the Taipei Dome in Taiwan.
BIGBANG held their ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > IN TAIPEI’ concert at the Taipei Dome for three days from the 9th to the 11th, connecting with approximately 100,000 fans. This concert marks their first local solo concert in about 10 years since 2016, proving their unrivaled ticket power by selling out all seats, including restricted-view tickets.
During the concert period, the area surrounding the Taipei Dome, the largest of its kind locally, was packed with fans who had been eagerly waiting for BIGBANG’s reunion. Major downtown landmarks like Taipei 101 and nearby streets were dyed in BIGBANG’s colors, and long queues formed outside the official pop-up store, transforming the entire city into a massive festival.
Stepping onto the stage amidst enthusiastic cheers, BIGBANG instantly raised the venue’s excitement to its peak with their mega-hit ‘FANTASTIC BABY’. They unleashed a parade of masterworks encompassing their 20-year history, including ‘LOSER’, ‘Haru Haru’, ‘Lies’, and ‘BANG BANG BANG’, turning the venue into a sea of enthusiasm. Solo stages highlighting the members’ unique auras also kept fans glued to the performance.
Combining explosive energy, flawless live band sound, and grand staging, BIGBANG fully demonstrated the class of ‘K-pop Kings’. The members shared touching thoughts, saying, ‘We are so happy to celebrate BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary with V.I.P (fandom name). We do not take this love for granted and will do our absolute best to repay it.’
Meanwhile, having started their Asian tour after stops in Goyang, the Americas, and Europe, BIGBANG will head to the Singapore National Stadium on October 17 and 18. They will then continue their massive world tour across 39 shows in 19 cities, including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.
